Who Are We?

The Student Council is a very involved group of students from the third, fourth, and fifth grade. They are
chosen by their classmates and teacher to represent their class, but they represent all the students of Wake Forest Elementary. Student Council has been both extra-curricular and a year long elective. The students learn about what it means to be responsible and productive members of society and to be good role models for others.

Many of these same students have gone on to do wonderful things in middle school and high school.

Canned Food

The Canned Food Group would like to have more canned food brought in. What we do with canned food is, we send the canned food that kids bring in, to the needy. We got a lot of canned food from the Spring Social. Thank you for bringing it in! JJJ

Tabs

Students of WFE, Student Council collect tabs on regular basis. Every tab brought to school will go to the Ronald McDonald house .The Ronald McDonald house is where families of kids stay when their child is in the hospital. They give them a place to eat, sleep, and wash up. THANK YOU!

Recycling

The Student Council has been in charge of the “Feed the Bin” program.  This a county wide program that recycles the paper used in schools and other buildings.  Recycling is good for everyone.  The paper will save the wild life around you. The way it saves wild life is that it doesn’t get thrown in. recycle because it’s nice not just for something. PLEASE SAVE THE PAPER!
