My Dog

There once was a dog

Autumn

Autumn is when yellow, red and brown leaves fall.

Use your nose and smell the wonderful smell of the leaves

The feasts are great, especially Thanksgiving!

Usually in Autumn you celebrate Halloween.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving in Autumn.

Noon is the best time to go outside!         By Hope

Writing Workshop                                                                      By: Victoria

When my class writes we go to the gathering place.  The gathering place is where the whole class goes to one side of the room and Mrs. Smith tells us what we are doing or what we are writing about.  When we go to the gathering place we go with our partners.  We have to sit right next to each other so we can say what we are doing.  We conference with our partners when we need help.  What we also do is ask questions.  When we have everything we go back to our seats and write it down.  It can be as long as you want it to be but it has to be a seed idea. Then you can start your final copy.  First you have to revise and edit.  Then you can write your final copy. When you have all that you can turn it in.  She might or might not take it but she will grade it so do your best work. That is how you write a story.

You can write a fiction, nonfiction, biography, autobiography, and fairy tale.  There are lots more.  Make writing fun. Write you own way.  Have some fun.

Where does writing take you?
